Usually we would go into a little depth about each release that we review here, but in fitting with the new sleek approach, all reviews will cover, just the basic and fundamental need to know points about the following records
At The Drive In_ Relationship of Command ::::
everyone's raving about this band at the moment, and if you can get past the weird dancing and 'bigger than Shafts' hair, then you'll hear an amazingly energetic sound, very raw and filled with it's own attitude.

Lost Prophets_Fake Sound of Progress ::::
another apple of the media's eye, but with good reason, live they're both incredibly tight and entertaining (you know this by now as they're touring their asses off supporting anyone who'll let them). Musically there's a subtle hardcore edge that's combined with catchy riffs and vocal's reminiscent of an old Faith No More.

Corrosion Of Conformity_Americas Volume Dealer ::::
Talk about complete and utter f**king disappointment! What happened here? surely they're not the same band that released eye for an eye, they definitely ain't the same band that released Blind and they seem a million miles off Deliverance and Wiseblood! There's like 2 songs on here that are okay, but the rest? coc rock.

Electric Wizard_Dopethrone ::::
Your a stonner fan, you'll like this. The genre is pretty tight and with a sound like this, Electric Wizard fit right in and push a few of their contemporaries to one side so they can be a t the front of the que. Heavy Metal

Charger ::::
I don't have anything infront of me to review right now, but I caught them with Raging Speedhorn this week and all I can say is that this band are amazing, very heavy. See them if you can. As it is likely there are to be many bands emerging in the next year or so who have an Iron Monkey sound, these are likely to be one of the best.

Linkin Park_Hybrid Theory ::::
Another nu-metal band with some nice guitar sounds and ropey rap-styled vocals. Compared to bands like Deftones by the magazines, anyone expecting an interesting blend of styles will be sorely disappointed. Not very exciting ... too close to the more than lame Limp Bizkit.

This is album is great, this is the album COC should have made. Brant Bjork is a genius in my book, he had a hand in all the best Kyuss stuff, made a shrewd move to Fu Manchu and now he's the mastermind behind this little ensemble. Groovy and mellow with a few instrumentals thrown in just for good measure :)
