Summer Comp
No big international contest will take place at Radlands this
year so plans are underway for a low-key summer party probably
taking part in mid July going by the name Radlands BBQ 2000.
6/7/8th October--ETNIES EUROPEAN OPEN (SKATEBOARDING)
Radlands will be one of the stop offs on the European Open Championships
sponsored by Etnies in October, this will feature the best skateboarders
from all over Europe and maybe further afield with Friday 6th
being practice day, Saturday 7th the heats and Sunday 8th Finals
Day.

TransWorld Video
Ty
Evans and Jon Holland just may have outdone themselves. In the
midst of final editing, the two champion film makers have produced
a sample of their latest creation, Modus Operandi, which promises
to be their best yet.
To be released in May, this is the tenth TransWorld SKATEboarding
video, and includes a collage of interviews with and footage
of Brian Anderson, Chany Jeanguenin, Mike Carroll, Marc Johnson,
Brad Staba, Chris Lambert, Stephane Larance, Rick Howard, and
Scott Johnston.
Road trips through California and the American South provided
plenty of new terrain and ample opportunity for Evans and Holland
to capture these skaters at their spontaneous best. Some of
the cities visited and destroyed include Sacramento, San Diego,
San Francisco, Los Angeles, Birmingham, Tampa, Miami, and Atlanta.
Osiris
In
the wake of their most ambitious video to date, Osiris shoes
is taking its team and a virtual party on the road. Having just
released The Storm on DVD, Osiris turns to a series of live
appearances by its entire team (including Dave Mayhew, Kanten
Russell, Chad Knight, Tyrone Olson, Josh Kasper, Mathias Ringstrom,
Peter Smolik, Chad Fernandez, Jerry Hsu, Dave Coyne, and all
the ams), plus special musical guests and DJs. The Aftermath
Tour will canvas the country in June as a self-contained skatefest,
hitting major metropolitan areas and other select stops.
