NUMBER 37

You can't ever really go wrong with 411 as there is always something in it for everyone. My only gripe with it is that some of the formatting could do with a change.

For a start the theme music should go. I mean it's been on 37 of the bloody things, and it's not as if you only watch it once.

Lance Mountain, nice bloke by the seem of things, but I'm sick of him too, I find I'm constantly fast forwarding over him, I mean it's not as if you don't know what's on the video, that is unless you didn't read the box.

Anyway enough moaning. The CHAOS section has always been one of my favorite features of 411 and this issue doesn't let me down.

John Rattray has a good Rookie section with a good cross section of terrain, nice kickflip into a mini and some nice rail and bowl skating.

The road trips are particularly good in this issue as Etnies show us the East Coast, Mike Vallely gets gnarly, Elissa Steamer has some nice lines and Arto Saari pop's up too.

Visalia skatecamp has some real good skating too, watch out for Laban Phiadas in the woods and a sick nose blunt slide across a very slippery water gap that even Salman Agha doesn't like the look of.

4 WHEELED DRAGONS

A Welsh scene film by Matthew Ryan. Lacking the budget of a production like 411, this film doesn't let you down with the quality of skating.

Most of it's cast will be unknown to anyone who is not familiar with the Welsh skate scene but this doesn't matter. There's allot of street skating in this film that show's the versatility of the scene. Everyone has there own style here and it shows that this scene is a healthy one.

Anyone who went to the premier of this film would be able to see how well these boys get on as the atmosphere was something really special. There seems to be no time for posers here as everyone's in it for the skating rather than need to be associated with something that's cool.

Riders to watch out for are definitely Matt Davies and Matthew Pritchard. Pritch has a retrospective showing some of best things he's done in his long career and Matt Davies gives us a taste of how good he really is.

Matt recently got flow from Panic Skateboards which is well deserved as I've seen him skate lately and the boy is going off!
